What techniques did Andy Warhol use in his paintings?

Without any doubt, Andy Warhol known for its tempting paintings was the most successful and well paid commercial illustrator in New York. Andy Warhol was born to Czechoslovakian immigrant parents in 1928. Born to Slovak immigrants, he was stern in a working-class community of Pittsburgh. He was the Third kid born to Ondrej and Ulja (Julia) Warhola. Andy also had two older brothers, John and Paul. From a very young age, Andy was elegant and artistic. He was a talented individual from a very tender age.  In addition to his keen interest in painting and creating box sculptures, Warhol began working in additional mediums including record producing, magazine publishing and filmmaking.

Warhol's drawings were often humorous, attractive, and unusual, and their manner is completely diverse from the cold and distant mood of his Pop art. Below mentioned are some key techniques Andy Warhol use in his Silk Screen paintings.
  • First of all stretch a bit of mesh over a frame keep in mind the better the mesh the more thorough the resulting picture will be.
  • Now simply lay the screen on apex of your paper print
  • Then block off the parts of the screen using a stencil (If you do want elements to transfer the image).
  • After this, you can apply photo emulsion
  • The image will now become visible on the screen or mesh
  • To give the image final touches place the screen on the surface that you want to create or how you want the image to appear.
  • Finally, apply ink.
These are steps exactly used by Wahol in his painting. Andy Warhol would use this procedure on several surfaces. Each would alter the image itself. A few of Andy Warhol’s techniques also includes Acrylic Painting, Watercolor Painting, Oxidation Paintings and Silk-Screening, which he later described as "holy pictures that cry all the time." because most of the technique he used were onto the canvas.
